Dolphin Dreaming: Amanda Zirzow Paints Live at Art Aid Naples

Amanda Zirzow participated in Art Aid Naples’ second annual Quick Draw on November 27, 2021, creating Dolphin Dreaming in Cambier Park during the live painting event.

Visitors watched as artists developed original works over a few hours, offering a close view of the decisions and adjustments that usually take place in the studio.

Amanda’s finished painting measures 16 × 20 × 0.75 inches and was created in acrylic on canvas. Its coastal subject and expressive color connect it with the wildlife imagery found throughout her work.

Now in a private collection, Dolphin Dreaming in Cambier Park preserves the spontaneity of the event and the atmosphere of painting in a public setting.

For Zirzow Gallery, live painting offers a valuable opportunity to share more than a finished image. It allows viewers to witness the process and meet the artist behind the work.
