Amanda Zirzow’s Primavera Eterna Selected for the All Florida Exhibition
Amanda Zirzow’s Primavera Eterna was selected for the 36th Annual All Florida Exhibition at the Alliance for the Arts, held March 4–26, 2022.
The painting takes inspiration from Sandro Botticelli’s Primavera, with particular attention to the Three Graces. Amanda used these classical references as a foundation for a contemporary interpretation shaped by her X-Ray Expressionism style.
Anatomical forms, vivid color, and strong contrasts introduce questions about life, death, and the meanings carried by familiar imagery. The painting connects Amanda’s interest in biological structure with her exploration of symbolism and art history.
The All Florida Exhibition brought together contemporary artists from across the state. Zirzow Gallery was pleased to see Primavera Eterna included in this setting, offering another audience the opportunity to encounter this direction in Amanda’s work.
