Amanda Zirzow Brings Florida’s Living Landscapes to Arts for ACT Gallery

Amanda Zirzow’s February 2025 exhibition at Arts for ACT Gallery brought paintings inspired by Florida’s natural environments to downtown Fort Myers.

Drawing on coral reefs, mangroves, and estuaries, the collection explored the relationships that shape these living systems. Amanda’s background as a biologist and environmental educator informed her attention to natural forms, while expressive color and texture gave the paintings their individual character.

The February 7 opening reception coincided with Fort Myers Art Walk, welcoming visitors for an evening of artwork and conversation about the environments behind it.

Zirzow Gallery extends its thanks to Arts for ACT Gallery for presenting the collection and to Happenings Magazine for featuring the exhibition. Together, these opportunities helped share Amanda’s work and its environmental inspirations with the community.
