Amanda Zirzow’s 2022 Luxembourg Art Prize Recognition

In December 2022, Amanda Zirzow received recognition for her artistic efforts through the Luxembourg Art Prize selection process, organized by the Pinacothèque in Luxembourg.

The acknowledgment was a meaningful encouragement as Amanda continued developing her X-Ray Expressionism paintings. This body of work combines anatomical imagery, strong contrasts, and expressive color to examine themes connecting biology, emotion, and visual storytelling.

Participation in an international art context also provided an opportunity to share her paintings beyond the regional exhibitions and community events that had helped establish her practice.
