Amanda Zirzow Receives Recognition Through Biafarin

Zirzow Gallery is pleased to share that Amanda C. Zirzow received a promotional badge from Biafarin, an international platform for contemporary artists, in April 2026.

The recognition offered another opportunity to introduce Amanda’s work to audiences beyond Southwest Florida. Her paintings draw from wildlife encounters, marine environments, and the close observation that connects her work as an artist and biologist.

In the studio, those experiences become compositions shaped by saturated color, expressive movement, and layered forms. Scientific understanding provides a foundation, while imagination allows each painting to move beyond a literal description of its subject.

Sharing this work with new audiences is an encouraging part of Amanda’s developing artistic practice. Zirzow Gallery looks forward to continuing to present the paintings and stories that emerge from that connection to the natural world.
